Easybed Scope Festival

Scope: Adelgonde Z jumped double clear in the Newcomers Masters, Lucie De Brecey was placed in the 1.40 qualifier as was Mountinus Colorado, he then went on to take the Gents championship with Cruisings Micky Finn finishing in 2nd place. In the 1.30 championship Ceaser took 2nd place and Cavinem was 3rd. Mountinus Colorado was 5th in the Grand Prix.

Dublin/Shrewsbury

DUBLIN: Billy was competing at the Faltie Ireland Dublin, he took Je Taim Flamenco,Cavinem and Blue Thunder, Cavinem was the most consistant performer taking 2nd place in the Dublin speed stakes and also 2nd in the Acumulator,Je Taim Flamenco was part of the Irish team that finished 5th in the Final Maydem Nations cup

Hickstead and Gijon

HICKSTEAD:We had a good week at Hickstead despite the rain billy started well taking second place with Ceaser in the 1.35 speed class and third place with Mountinus Colorado in the international speed on saturday. Cruisings Micky Finn jumped a brillianyt double clear in the Queens Cup finishing in third place, and KEC Maximum Joe was part of the Irish team which also finished third in the Maydem super league comfirming their place in next years competition. And Je T'aim Flamenco was unlucky to just have the last fence down in the Grand Prix.

Hickstead this week

Billy is off to Hickstead this week, he is taking 5 horses there.KEC Maximum Joe, Mountinis Colorado, and Je Taim Flamenco for International competition and Ceaser and Viceroy for the national classes.I am going down on saturday morning with Cruisings Micky Finn to jump the Queens cup.

Twomey Triumphs in St. Gallen

Billy Twomey triumphed in the CSIO 5 star Grand prix in St. Gallen, Switzerland on Sunday,riding Sue and Ed Davies's brilliant young stallion Je Taime Flamenco.   With €200,000 on offer, only three riders were clear going into the jump off, although 12 riders were taken through.   The three contenders where Billy for Ireland, Marcus Ehning for Germany and Richard Spooner for the USA.   Billy was the only rider to go clear in the jump off guaranteeing him the €61,000 winners prize. A delighted Billy stated  "Je Taime has been going brilliantly all year with his grand prix wins in Belfast, Amsterdam and his consistent results in the Meydan Nations Cup Series. I am delighted for his owners, Sue and Ed Davies who have supported me for many years.   "My main focus for Je Taime Flamenco this year, is selection for the Europeans at Windsor in August, so I don't want to over jump him before then. I am lucky to have such strength and depth in my string of horses for this season, with the addition of the Kennedy family's Kec Maximum Joe."   The Pewitt team have a weekend at home this weekend, competing the young horses at local shows.
